Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month
-Fits in a lot of consumer products(though not always compatible)
-Higher max current and voltage than alkaline batteries
-Higher max current than protected li-ion
-No discharge protection
-Require specific li-ion charger
I used these in my nerf stampede and an electric stock car, and they worked excellently for both purposes. Just make sure that you don't let them discharge too much, because if you do they won't charge up again!
These are great if you need high current or high voltage batteries in either a DIY project or simple consumer electronics. But, you might want to consider protected batteries if you don't need current quite this high.
