Unbeatable price-value ratio in 18650 cells

posted by podvlada on 05/22/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - both came charged at 3,8V - good voltage for storing - comes with storage box - protected - cheap - holds charge very well (after a week there is no voltage drop) - capacity ~2000mAh, maybe slightly more, which is still good
    Cons:
    - little longer (~69mm) than unprotected cells due to the protective cirquit, check your appliance wheter it fits

    Pros:
The Capacity. It`s really true 2400 ma-h, even a bit more, according to my own researches. I tried to discharge the accumulators 2 way: 1000 ma current and 500 ma current. First expierience indicated the capacity about 2500 ma-h, the second one - about 3200...
    Cons:
    No any cons att all.

    Pros:
They last a long time. They look nice. They don't seem to die easily, unless you store them, already flat, for a long time. The protected circuit cuts out when they're flat and when they're charged, which is what it's meant to do
    Cons:
None really, they can die, as I have said, but fairly minimal care keeps them going. I guess the blue ultrafires, which I have ...

    Cons:
None so far. It's not really a con since the batteries are very good.

    Pros:
The best things about these batteries are the protected layer on top stopping them from possibly exploding due to bad storage conditions. I feel safe leaving these batteries in my torches for months knowing I can take them out anytime and use the torch. The...
    Cons:
The only con is that you need a different charger that can hold a 18650. So when you first get them you need to splash out for ...
