Good enough, but seriously lacking low end ability – SM-688 Noise Isolation In-Ear Stereo Earphones (3.5mm Jack/108cm Cable) Reviews

Pros:
For the price, build quality is good, they look and feel well made. The mid and high frequency sounds are average for ear buds (I don't listen with ear buds normally because of their poor performance), I would even go so far as it sounds decent. But for full spectrum, read below.
Cons:
Low frequency's are lacking. They can produce frequency's down to 100hz or so, but lower than that they have nothing.
Other:
If the type of music you listen to doesn't contain much drum, beats, or heavy bass, then for the money these are a good buy. But if you like any type of music with bass, these are not for you.
Bottomline:
Good on the mids and highs, poor on the bass response.
