Works great under Linux – Virtual 5.1-Surround USB 2.0 External Sound Card Reviews

Pros:
Works well - I had issues with my onboard sound card intermittently pausing under Linux and causing halts, using this as my output device with pulseaudio I have had no issues - it was picked up immediately and I was able to choose it as a device with padevcontrol without needing to do any further configuration.
Cons:
Device is fairly wide and is a tight fit when plugged in with any other devices. Best used with an extension cable if any other devices or plugged in with it directly to a motherboard connector.
Other:
Works great under Linux (ubuntu oneiric).
Bottomline:
Stellar value for the price - better sound quality than a creative card I have!
