Not much to them so they are easy to use. They are indeed metal. There are three tubes that you can use individually or stack them in different combinations......
No cons...Red dot markings to align lens mount could be better positioned (in the lens barrel instead of mount .
You can't beat the price considering the canon extension tubes probably cost around $150.
If you want to do macro then quit thinking about it ya cheapskate. Get the darn tubes already..Despite the cons, which are more like quirks, these are great little macro extension tubes. Get them and have fun with macro!
