very handy – Flexible Joints Camera Tripod Reviews

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

Pros:
Very very cheap compared to the real gorilla pod. It works great and is really handy for those awkward camera shots, I have used mine a lot indoors. Wrapping around handles and the like. I've used it up mountains too to get a good purchase on a rock and as a monopod of sorts.
Cons:
You may need to "break" the little plastic connectors before using it the first time. Maybe a carry over from the moulding process. But its almost fun - like popping bubble wrap :D
Other:
Its much cheaper than the real thing and i bought one for a friend and he is raving about it too.
Bottomline:
much better than my old mini tripod and so cheap to be able to buy two - one for the bag and one as a spare.
