Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It immediately attracts people. Not just freaking geeks, but normal people! This cube is as easy (or difficult, it depends on you) to solve as a normal cube
    Cons:
Its build quality is low... When moving the pieces, you don't feel as comfortable as with more expensive cubes. But hey, this c...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
its cheep. it easy to turn the sides, kan even use some of the finger moves that i use on the normal 3x3x3 one. it takets a little bit of thinking to solve it the first couple of times, but gets easyer whrn you get the hang of it. this is worth buying.
    Cons:
    no cons so far :b

    Fantasticly entertaining

posted by Flizzle on 02/15/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Surprisingly good quality for the price. Turns very well without and adjustments, but still keeps its shape without being too loose.
    Cons:
If you're too hard on your turns without lining it up properly, pieces may pop out. This is easy to fix as they can just slide ...

    A fun adaptation of a Rubik's Cube

posted by lmichaelc on 01/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    Pieces move very easily.
    Cons:
The center pieces on each side have a cover that keeps popping off on mine. Easy enough to push back into place, but slightly ...

    Challenging Irregular cube

posted by CaptainSumo on 01/04/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Adds challenges even for experienced Rubik's solvers. It theory the solution is identical to the 3x3x3, but it was so hard to keep track of the which corners go where, I eventually used a long retired corners-first method to solve. Smooth to turn, no locku...
    Cons:
Build quality is not fantastic. Pieces seem quite loose. The stickers have not been placed very accurately at all!

    Cons:
    - It makes squeaky sounds while solving.

posted by magem on 12/14/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Novice  (still getting used to it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Fantastic teaser. The must have for Rubik's cube enthusiasts. I felt again like solving magic cube for the first time.
    Cons:
A little bit to loose. Based on very basic structure. Shape of particular elements is very far from being brilliant. Some eleme...

    Cool stuff

posted by FatalErr on 11/29/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's really a very cool looking stuff, which is in fact a (little more difficult) version of a plain Rubic's cube! Looks good when assembled, awesome and scary when disassembled %), works fine as a brain teaser (it has the same game mechanics as a plain cub...
    Cons:
It could be a little cheaper, I think. However, the price is comparable with other Rubic's cubes, so I'm not sure if it's reall...

Good alternative for regular cube puzzles

posted by NWind on 10/09/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Well-known and still unusual puzzle. Abcent colors and unequal sides makes it more an interesting intellectual toy than a puzzle (well, if you play too much it could be hard to get it back). Light, sides move easily, good quality plastic, silver stickers ar...
    Cons:
The only con is that silver stickers get scratches easily and wear off.

posted by Diogomas on 07/28/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Magic Cube quite different. I liked him, is a different challenge to the traditional 3x3x3. Very good for developing children's thinking. great as time passes.
    Cons:
Could create a model that was not bonded with adhesives. It is normal that with time the adhesive to loosen. I prefer the cube ...
