    Pros:
Easy to use, just plug it in and swipe your card. Input is simply done as a USB keyboard. Works perfectly under Windows and Linux. Non-slip rubber feet on the bottom mean the reader is unlikely to fall off your desk. Lightweight and well constructed.
    Cons:
Larger than typical swipe card readers you'll see used in shops or security systems.
