Time to time capo – Boston Steel Guitar Capo for 6-String Guitar Reviews

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

Pros:
Easy to use
Quite well build
Nice
Cons:
The main rivet looks cheap, I fear that one day it will come off. This coul be fixed, but whole capo is sturdy but one, important, rivet is cheap, that kates whole product one level down...
The capo pad is too firm and it takes some time or practice to adjust it correctly (achieve no rattle on all strings)
Other:
Nice capo, but with main problem (at least with my guitar) wit correct adjusting. After "clap" you must fiddle with it until any of the strings give rattling sound. After time you get practice and it will be faster, but still...
This problem is caused by curving of fingerboard, urving of pad and firmness of pad. So effect could vary on another guitar.
Bottomline:
Good capo if you're using it ocasionally and if you're beginner and you just want try it out.
