-small board, great for mods in smaller lights than maglite & Co. Other board are huge, only good for maglite mods.
-By changing the sene Resistor, it can run with 2A output current with ease!
0.25 / sense resistor in ohm = Output current
Example: 0.25 / 0.125ohm = 2A output
-SS34 Diode = less heat generated
-A AX2003 version would by nice, its up to 3A current --> ideal for Cree XM-L
-presoldered wires are too thiny
Some people try to measure the output current and have different results:
It's NOT possible to do that with a Multimeter!
The output of a switching driver is not stable like from a battery or linear driver like AMC7135. A DMM can not handle that. The wire from driver to led should not exceed 10cm!
A great catch for 2$ with good power efficiency.
After several mods, my favourite driver!
