Great battery as it has integrated circuitry to stop a charger overcharging it and the same circuitry cuts off the charge when the battery gets too low. Over charging or letting the charge drop too low can supposedly cause rechargeable lithium batteries to explode or cause a fire. So this battery is safer than the cheaper unprotected ones.
- Using the Trustfire TR002 charger (which has overchage protection) has a problem where even leaving it to charge for weeks it won't charge this battery over around 3.45V.
- It is necessary to use a cheap non protected 14500 battery charger (cost around $2) to charge this battery to it's full potential which is 4.25V.
No other thoughts.
Good rechargeable lithium ion battery but need to use cheap non protected charger and let this battery charge to full capacity.
