Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

Pros:
This item has a small size, which is nice. The retractable feature also avoid snarling of the cable. Not sure if it would last long if constantly kept in a bag, though. It is indeed the new standard micro-USB plug at one end, poised to replace the mini-USB. (And it is the ubiquitous USB-A at the other end).
Cons:
When unfolding the retractable cable, it sometime retracts when you would like it not to. But biggest cons, data transfer worked a few times, but doesn't work anymore. Still useful to charge the phone, but this is less than expected.

Bottomline:
Don't expect too much from it.
