    Good buy

    Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    *The best feature here in my opinion is that it uses radio and not infra-red, so there is no need for direct line of sight *Very easy to program. Just a click of a button *Relativly Cheap *Fits most sockets configuration
    Cons:
    *Build quality not great *Not very attractive. Mine is in a hidden spot, so it's fine by me.

    Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - working distance ~10 m in apartment (through 1 wall); - easy to use and connect; - at my version on reciever there's no wire-antenna, it's inside;
    Cons:
    - outcoming socket for USA type (for EU you need adapter); - metall clips not proper closing (for me not critical).

    Cons:
    The price. Some weekes ago i bought another product (SKU: 124905) but that was a total garbage, you needed to get too close and...

    Remote Control with Hidden Value

    posted by Okasional on 08/22/2009 Certified Owner

    Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    As I expected when I purchased it, the control works fine at 115VAC as well as 220VAC. The reason is that the low voltage for the receiver is obtained by dropping line voltage and then rectifying and filtering it. Voltage is dropped through a 0.56MFD 300V...
    Cons:
    Inadequate instructions about the learning feature. Failure to mention it is useable at 115VAC line.
