Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month
- Looks nice and white, like other Apple stuff
- Maximum resolution is 1080p! So if you have a 30" monitor (like me) it's NOT going to give you 2560x1600 (or even higher)! The maximum is 1920x1200.
This does not support sound on my Mac, but that's because Apple doesn't send audio over Displayport. I don't know if it does work with other devices.
Fits perfectly on my Macbook Pro 15.4" mid 2009, and works with my Philips 42" 1080p LCD TV, and my Dell 3008 WFP. If you need this for 1080p: BUY IT! If you need it for higher than 1080p, get a mini displayport to dual DVI, or mini-displayport to displayport instead.
