Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month
+ Powerfull beam, does look ~200-230 lumens!
+ Nice machining w/ slightly striked square knurling (looks cool)!
+ Flawless anodizing, w/ nice color
+ Throws quite far (>200m)
+ GID O-rings and tail cap are a plus and look cool.
+ It's waterproof! (tested on shallow water)
- Didn't work with 1.2v NiMH or 1.5v Alcalines
- Button was a bit receded, making it a bit hard to press with the thumb.
- Tint was slightly purplish, but not annoyingly so.
* Luckly I also got 2x14500 battery, and it works fine with those.Even if yours works with AA's, it's still better w/ 14500! ;)
*The receded button problem was easily solved by putting a 1.5 mm high slice of pencil eraser between the switch and the cap
*I removed the annoying plastic on the clip and put a 3cm bit of 3mm heat-shrink tubing thru the clip wire and shrunk it in place (where it touches the body). It looks even better now!
Relatively inexpensive light for everyday use, easy to carry around and very bright!
A friend of mine saw it and bought one for himself just a few minutes after! :)
