    Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    It's USB 3.0; and 2 ports even! Drivers work on most 32 and 64 bit windows; XP and later, including server 2008 and 2003.
    Cons:
    Expensive Needs drivers from CD ROM Not recognized by Windows XP update Somewhat flimsy built! I could bend the aluminum casing...

    Pros:
    price, it works without doing anything with Ubuntu 11.04, but you have to boot with the card connected to be launched by the system.

    Works with Mac - with Lacie's driver

    Pros:
    It fits well into the MBP's Expresscard slot it works with Mac it is cheap it does it's job well - USB 3.0 functionality on MacBook Pro 17"

    Can not power a USB 3.0 HDD

    Pros:
    It works as USB 3.0 I/F through the express 34 interface. It is able to power USB flash drive and 1.8" USB 2.0 poertable HDD but unable to power a 2.5" poerable USB 3.0 HDD
