Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

Pros:
Price the lowest. Quality is good. Sometimes soldering quality looks like handmade (and it's a cool handmade device and so cheap :) ). Works fine with linux through jack.
Cons:
Very bright blue led, it can be used for highlighting in the dark :) But feel free to place patch over led ). An no any cons, very good product.
Other:
Cool, somebody wrote that it is little bit noisy, yes if you use position hi, but differences in sound level is to small so no any reason to use it in a hi position.
Bottomline:
If you want it just buy it
