Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Good suction, without much else to say to one part simple to use. It can also be completely dismantled easily, to clean solder residues. The spring is quite strong, and continues to be after a year usage (in my case).
    Cons:
The body could be better designed, especially in the push-pin. It works, but seems a little weak material.

    Simple and good

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Good desoldering pump. Aluminium body with "taps"/"caps" on plastic, final tube is something like teflon. It is quite resistant to shock and has good suction force. It works like other that i used but this is for half price, even less.
    Cons:
Mine have some parts in yellow, not exactly as the picture...but funcionality is the same.

For the price you won't find better.

    Pros:
It's a really nice desoldering pump. Everyone who solders will need one, and for the price you won't find a better product to do the job. This works perfectly and is very useful.
    Cons:
The quality is cheap, but for the price I was expecting worse. Just does the job, so it still a nice purchase.

    Works OK for the price

    Pros:
Very good price. Works pretty good. Build quaility is acceptable but not great. Dissasembly for cleaning is a little tricky but once you get that hang of it then its OK. Suction is decent. Works OK.
    Cons:
Nozzle appears to be plastic so I don't know how long it will last and dx.com doesn't appear to have spares available. Build qu...

    Pros:
Very easy to operates. Nice size. Aluminum casing. Suction is very good. Comes apart easily for cleaning inside. Just press the plunger all the way to its limit to clean the tip.
    Cons:
Tip is plastic and may melt if not used carefully - pity it does not come with spare tips

    Pros:
Well built and provides good strong suction. Easy to disassemble for cleaning. Will replace my older desoldering pump I got elsewhere for twice the cost.
    Cons:
No cons. Works as expected. Oh.. the button and plunger were black on the unit i received. No big deal.

Involvement:Novice  (still getting used to it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
I was very happy with this item. This was my first desoldering pump, but I have been exceptionally happy with it. I have surprisingly high level of use out of the item and it just keeps working as expected. Despite lots of use by a novice (including som...

The pump does occasionally catch and get stuck. But a little push or a bump on the desk quickly fixes the problem. At this pri...

    Cheap but Good

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Gotta say this will last longer on my bench than expected. Good suction and a nice small size, the teflon tip is well heat resistant and the spring mechanism seems solid with a good positive action. Oh and it's very lightweight.
    Cons:
A little unusual 'pull and lift' trick is required to empty it. I'm used to a screw nozzle type, but once you get the hang of i...

    Cons:
    No cons!
