Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week
- It works good
- Good range
- Easy to use after installation
- The CD contains some documents with the options to set for make it work with the consoles
- The productor's official site has all the documentation and drivers you need (in case you lose o break the CD)
- Hard to install. Really. If you are used to the Win 95 problems so you will get past this really fast, otherwise you could not be able to make it work. You install the CD and it's all ok, but when you plug in the OS ask you for the drivers you have to force the installation by selecting manually the driver (the options for experts) and selecting in the CD the drivers in XP directory. Otherwise it will not recognize it asking for the vista drivers of another (is the same but not for the driver obviously) chipset. Maybe with Vista it could be easy, but remember to force installation if you have problems.
After installation it works perfectly, if you are not afraid of this part (but I've explained how to get past it) buy it.
I've not tested with all the consoles, but it works great on DS and there aren't clues of possible problems with the others one (the manual explains exactly what to do and set).
