Still retains full functionality for making phone calls hands free. Built in mic is as good as the one on the manufactures headphones.
There's also an answer/end call switch and also there's a built in volume slider which is very handy and all are fully functional.
Also the chord never seems to tangle and is quite thick. And it also helps to extend the length of your chosen headphones a bit.
All similar headphones I found on the internet in the UK were at least 5 times the price of these with no mic of button, and only the official LG set had an answer button but they weren't so cheap.
