    Pros:
excellent heat transfer... convenient tube dispenser... if you poke the tip with a pin instead of cutting it, you can apply it very accurately... awesome for attaching LEDs to a larger heatsink... tacks up well and you have lots of time to reposition part...
    Cons:
the thicker the layer you need to use, the longer it needs to dry...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Pros: Easy to glue power leds to heatsink metal if you do not like soldering. Use it in a thin layer and apply pressure. The component will be hard to remove after half an hour. Just to be on the safe side I have not switch on power for a day after it was g...
    Cons:
Cons: It takes a while to dry, but compared to many other glues and sealants, its pretty good. The only real con is that it is ...

    Pros:
very cheap and this is the perfect package for all around use. there is a lot of thermal glue inside it and it gonna last for a long time. i think its silicon based. i use it for the flashlight and not so demanding application.
    Cons:
its dries so fast. every time you open the tube you have to use a force to remove the dried glue on the top of the tube. i woul...

    Thermal glue

posted by haste45 on 01/29/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Tiny tube, the glue has the consistency of normal thermal grease. It is easy to spread. i used it to attach a thermistor, it surrounds the component well and flows a bit into the cracks between the part and the heatsink.
    Cons:
It takes a while to dry. I don't think it is a rock hard super solid adhesion like epoxy or so. It is a tiny tube, so if you ne...

Solid performance for a small price

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works like super glue and conducts heat well. Do you need more?
    Cons:
Except, that you need to utilize it quickly, then opened, before it hardens in tube, I don't see any more cons - it does what i...

    Just works

posted by Ibirapua on 12/22/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It has a good consistency when applied. As it was told here, you just need to hold the heat sink you are gluing in place for about some seconds and wait about 30 minutes to use the chip again.
    Cons:
None so far, it does what it is supposed to do.

    Good value, hard setting adhesive

posted by Bpacz on 12/06/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The quantity is very small, but for many electronics tasks involving adding heatsinks to small components, it will last a while. It's cheap enough that I bought some just to keep in the toolbox and I have already used it a couple times.
    Cons:
I don't see any cons, it sets fast, conducts heat well, and is very inexpensive.

    Works well

posted by socram8888 on 12/03/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Transfers heat very well and it gets sticked quite hard. It does a good job.
    Cons:
As it gets sticked very hard, trying to remove the heatsink after you glued it on its place may damage the board.

    Solid performance, solid glue.

posted by MandarS on 11/13/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    1) 10 Seconds of pressure applied after putting on glue is enough to stick the chip (10w LED in my case) in place. 2) You can start using the chip in next 30 minutes. 3) Good heat conduction, heat sink got warm in 10 minutes and required fan to be switched on.
    Cons:
    1) becomes solid too fast. found that the next time you want to use, you have to poke hole through the solidified paste at the tip

    Pros:
Sticks very well Performs quite well in transfering heat to heatsinks come with perfect size and cheap
    Cons:
If you have no experience, you might apply too much and get messy, its a glue, you would not want it to be messy. Removing the ...
