Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Good looking design - As small as it gets - Takes a single standard AA battery - Comes with a lanyard - Seems waterproof
    Cons:
    - Sharp metal edges in the LED side - I wonder how good will the rubberized power switch get old

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Excellent pocket light, it has been my edc for almost a year now. Having stupidly worn sweat pants to the store last night, I realized that it must have fallen out of the shallow, slippery pocket. I have quite a few other lights, mostly from DX, but tonight...
    Cons:
Doesn't contain a cigar lighter or clip, or a fork and spoon, or magnifying glass. No...wait...This is a POCKET LIGHT, nothin...

    Pros:
With 14500 battery absolutely amazing brightness. Battery life is also quite reasonable. With normal AA battery not so bright but bright enough for most of purposes. Some users have criticized that you have to press on-off switch too hard but I like it. It...
    Cons:
Not actually anything. Maybe there could be a model with 2 batteries :) I wouldn't mind if flashlight would be a bit longer. Bu...

    Pros:
The xpg-r5 in it is extremely bright for this size and lasts quite a while on the 2 practical operating modes. I use the trust fire flames 14500's. The beam has a nice usable hot spot and still manages to feather out the spill nicely for short range uses. ...
    Cons:
The tail cap is not very easy to operate--requires very accurate and firm pressure to activate. The threads were a little rough...

bright light for a nice price

posted by sonne on 10/24/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
A nice flashlight, especially for a lady. Shines really bright, even on an alkaline 1.5V battery. Since it's wide operating voltage range, you can use either 1.5V AA Alkaline Cells, but also 14500 Li-Ion rechargeable batteries. Brighter than an S-A2. Makes ...
    Cons:
Not really a con, but I miss a hole for a lanyard. Also, the clip makes a weak impression and might break.
