    NOT a Condenser Microphone

posted by ShadowBrujah on 05/10/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Cheap. - Quality above of average for a Dynamic Microphone. - Tripod is really nice - Cable length is good and build quality of connector is excellent.
    Cons:
This is NOT a Condenser Microphone. And no, it doesn't sound nothing like a condenser microphone. The audio is comparable to a ...

    Amazing value for 10 bucks

posted by Domen178 on 05/04/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
-Plug and Play (works perfectly after simply plugging it in and messing a bit with the audio settings) -No Feedback (There is absolutely no humming or other sounds of the kind during recording as far as I can tell) -Free stand (I mean why not? Same price as...
    Cons:
-Not the best stand (Might fall over at times, no big deal since it does not happen often though)

    Good for its price

posted by mucitel1 on 04/30/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Sounds alright for its price. There is some white noise but a bit less then my other microphone (this could also be my motherboards fault however) There is no installation, just plug it in. Tripod is handy.
    Cons:
Tripod is fully made of plastic which doesn't feel that solid. Putting a bit of pressure on it makes me feel like it's going to...

    Good enough for its price

posted by killani64 on 04/29/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap enough for a mic of its properties, a mic like this from a proper brand in some store would probably go for triple this price. Sound quality is what you'd expect, good enough for Skyping, recording gameplay videos, or voice recognition. The tripod is ...
    Cons:
Feels a bit cheap, plastic-ish. Microphone is too small to hold in your hands comfortably. Sound quality is what you'd expect, ...

Great starter mic for musicians and podcasters

posted by Mindflash on 03/07/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This is a very good microphone for the price. I was using my high end Sony digital camera to record audio since it was much better than my notebook mic, then I changed to this mic and it's even better than the camera one. I use it to record voice and guitar.
    Cons:
There is a low background hum like most non-professional mics, but you might deal with this using an audio editor and it won't ...

    Nice sound

posted by Andariel666 on 02/23/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I just used it two or three times since I got it, but I am totally happy with it so far. Other cheap microphones tend to give a metallic undertone to your voice, but this one does not do so. The tripod that comes with it is also very handy. Just plug and p...

    Looks good, sounds good

posted by Hamblo on 02/09/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It's really cheap, it's small but not too small, it doesn't look cheap, it has an acceptable sound. The frequency rate is 50-16.000Hz, so many sounds get lost while recording, but hey, it's not a studio microfon. Good for recording voice, noises, skyping.
    Cons:
There's a quiet high frequency noise after recording. It's not really annoying and a de-noiser can remove it, but it's still th...

Great for the price, Input Lag, and a bit quite

posted by iceandele on 02/06/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Good quality for price - Long cables (May be a con if you are looking for something that'll sit next to your pc) - Comes with stand
    Cons:
    - A bit of delay in the sound - No rubber feet on stand so it slides around - No on/off markings - A bit quite
