Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month
- Decent video quality at night
- Surprisingly good audio quality
- Lots of accessories and holders
- Waterproof case (I just did a scuba dive to 96 feet and the case didn't leak a single drop)
- Suction cup holds very well
- Lots of programmable settings
- Narrow-angle (Not wide-angle)
- Can't use any of the holders when it's in the case
- When plugging in USB, have to use the menu to choose Data before you can grab stuff and put it on the computer.
- Doesn't charge unless you choose charge from the menu when plugging in
- To put it in a holder, you snap a piece on to the camera and then that piece attaches (not very well) to the desired holder
- Always goes back to HD video mode when you turn it off (Doesn't stay in photo mode for instance)
The only huge con in my opinion is not being able to use waterproof case in the holders
- Waterproof case is good for keeping valuables and money dry when at the beach, swimming, or diving if you don't use the camera
