Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Looks to be very clear glass. I bought one, and it has much, much less molding defects than the one I got from one another place with a word "Good" in its name. Used it in a homemade flashlight.

    Man, this is heavy!

Involvement:Novice  (still getting used to it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It seems very well built, I couldn't find any con. I've bought for a project of a diving flashlight. Using underwater won't account too much weight but you should consider it's weight for other purposes.
    Cons:
A little bit heavy, but if this isn't a problem for your project it's great!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
A three inch diameter aspheric lense for under 10 dollars! I used this lense in a modified mag light. Installed an SST 50 emitter on a fabricated silver and copper heat sink, made an electronic PWM ballast to run at seven amps, powered it with two D cell ...
    Cons:
This lense is just what the Doctor ordered.
