    It's OK

posted by ky145 on 02/20/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Been using this for a few weeks now and it is fairly accurate and not as difficult to use as some people say. the little heart icon blinks when reading, so just vary pressure slightly to ensure a proper reading
    Cons:
REadings can be slow - up to 15 seconds to get a reading, and that can be a problem if you need a quick read right after an eve...

    Heart rate monitor

posted by Diammond on 01/18/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Great price - Very inexpensive! Handy to keep anywhere you may need to check your heartrate. Small, compact. Good for quick heart rate monitoring.
    Cons:
Not the best accuracy. Have to take it a few times to check as sometimes misses a few heartbeats. But it is a mini size.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Easy to use despite what was previously written. It actually reads the pulsing blood in your finger tips- so if you hold it too tight or too loose itwont give proper redings
    Cons:
If your to cold it wont read- because your body limits blood flow to the extremities when your cold! So not really a con, just ...

    Pros:

    Cons:

    Entertaining, but totally inaccurate!

posted by gbdx88 on 05/03/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's funny, very funny. Basically this thing is a random number generator that poses as a heart rate monitor. After about 20 minutes playing with it, I gave mine to a niece. Her parents report that she gets a great deal of fun out of it... tests her heart r...
