Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day
I was surprised with the overall quality of the set. The building instructions are also better than I feared.
Once assembled the fit and finish is very good.
The decorations are printed on the bricks, not transfer decals.
Fit isn't as perfect as the original. You sometimes have to press quite a bit harder to make them fit correctly.
Building instructions are not quite as good as the market leader
Plastic bags are harder to open than the ones used by the market leader, and are not made of perforated plastic (so they are not suffocation-proof).
Box came a little flattened at one end.
I wish they made a Robotics Invention Set at 'enlighten' price level...
I will get more enlighten-sets.
