Rather straightfroward and easy to use.
Invaluable timesaver for troubleshooting or testing new crimps.
Detachable terminator for testing ends that are far apart.
Extremely cheap build quality. It's a flimsy plastic box that is mostly hollow. You can hear it creak when you press the test button.
The required 9v battery is a poor fit in the battery compartment and knocks around inside.
In test mode, each press of the button will shift the tested wire one to the right before looping back to the first at the end. Auto mode cycles through them at about half a second each. You see which wire it's trying to send on and which wire on the receiving end is actually getting the signal, if any.
Despite how cheaply made it is, it gets the job done and will save you a lot of time.
