Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month
The electronics are easy to mod (but there isn't too many reasons to do so).
Really high capacity
It's not a no-name brand: the company is possible to find and the package have "genuine" tags.
Built in 4 levels Capacity indicator, that can be activated with a button.
On/off switch, for when you don't need to recharge anything for some time.
The indicators doesn't blink (charge/discharge) and there are no blue LED's.
It doesn't seem to scratch too easily.
It can stay on without any noticeable discharge (and it doesn't light/blink when charging other devices)
It takes many hours to charge (it's kinda expected, and no need to recharge the pack that often).
The charge connection for the battery pack itself is a round plug, you will need to use one of the provided adapters or a nokia-style charger to recharge the battery pack.
The screws may scratch other devices, if you have it together with them in your pocket.
The USB port is wired according to the USB charger standard, so older Apple(tm) devices may have problems without a mod or use of the included adapter.
It do cost some money, but you get great value for the money.
If you are traveling away from power outlets, get one of those.
