Upon un-packaging I noticed that the all brass construction of the laser head was well milled and bright. It was a pleasant surprise to see that since that means that I can solder plates, tubes, mounting arms etc to them without difficulty.
I then hooked up two 1.5V button batteries and tried it out. All five lasers worked great, the point was still fine and not fuzzy at 100m.
There are no cone to report, the build was nice and the soldering looks nice as well.
I bought a bunch of A23 batteries and harvested the LR932 batteries from them and soldered the positive to the red wire and the negative of the second battery to the black wire. All I have to do is touch the two batteries together and the laser lights.
These will be a lot of fun to use and I intend to mount these on Frisbee's and rockets to track them.
For a little over $6.00, you really cant go wrong with these.
