Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month
Withstands the heat from my soldering iron
Can be used to isolate semiconductors from heatsink.
Is not electrically conductive
I used it to hold in place a print on PCB when tranferring the toner to the copper
I also used it for isolating power transistors and voltage regulators from heatsinks. I'm too cheap to pay the price for regular isolation materials, and this seems to do the job just as well.
I didn't need it when i ordered it, but i became usefull the day after i got it :-)
