First of all, it really works and gives the 60x magnification. You can comfortably read a 0.05 mm text, which is usually called "microprint" and is used in various IDs or on some paper money.
The size is very, very small - you see a big "microscope" on DX pictures, but it's real height is less than 3 cm. You can carry it anywhere and anytime in your pocket - it's useful if you wish to check large bills anywhere.
The light is very bright, and it is very useful - you have to put the magnifier very close to the examined item, so you need a powerful light source. The LEDs are just OK. And the UV light is just a must have.
