Other problem is the set screw. The threaded part that is supposed to be fixed on the half circle shaped part is loose so it just rotates with the nut.
The scale on the ruler part seems to start from the wrong end and doesn't go all the way to the other end. It might be more logical if the scale started from the other end.
The mechanical problems make this pretty much useless. It can't be tightened and it is not accurate. Only working part is the 10 cm (4 in) ruler.
