Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good build, good price, good work. It does what it supposed to do. I use it with my 550d/t2i canon. It works for both photo (shutter release) and video. It comes in handy when you want to shoot video and you are in front of the camera, or when your camera i...
    Cons:
Just one thing, I thought that it can work from behind the camera, so i could use it with my jib, but it does not.

I have a Canon 550D and this is a great, cheap device to shoot pictures away from my camera. It can take an immediate picture with the S button of with a 2 seconds time with the 2S button. If auto-focus is turned on, the camera will also focus before the s...

    Best product for your DSLR

posted by tonymd on 12/28/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The quality is at its best. The range of the IR beam is about 10 meters which is a lot. It is a lot cheaper then it is in the store and there are many extra functions.
    Cons:
It's not compatable with many new Canon DSLR's but if you are lucky and works with yours .then you have no problem.

    Pros:
Very cheap and very useful product. For little money I got great working remote controller for my Nikon Coolpix 8800 and I recommend using this remote of course if you need it. Plastic parts are very good quality. Battery is also included.

An amazing find for the price

posted by Knoppi on 08/18/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This is really an amazing find for the price. It works just like it should with my Pentax cameras. Build quality is good enough and it is really slim so it fits inside every camera bag. Use range seems to be also fine.
    Cons:
The remote has a rather weird button layout so you need to go trough the buttons see which ones are used for your camera.
