Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week
- spill is brighter than with P7/XM-L with good throw even without driver modding;
- current is close to optimum for XR-E, enough brightness but less heat and longer batteries life;
- it has memory as i prefer.
current on tailcap (hi/med/low):
2x18650 - 1.56A / 0.93A / 0.46A
3x18650 - 1.01A / 0.66A / 0.36A
LEDs are driven on ~2W, something close to 700mA so there is 9..10W of total power. enough for me, i have no plans to modify driver for higher current values.
