Pros:
Antenna cable + miniUSB cable allow a user to place the antenna away from a notebook, even outdoors (under the roof, as I'm not sure if the dish is waterproof Ubuntu 12.04 supports Ralink 3070 chip out-of-the-box Tens of wireless networks available, the signal is about 10dBi stronger than what the internal netbook's wi-fi provides The price is excellent The dish can be connected to any router with detachable antennas
Cons:
None, in my opinion Only the numbers in the description are wrong: the wi-fi chip's output power is 200mW (read somewhere in the Internet, still 2-6 times more than in other wi-fi chips). The antenna is, I think, 8-10dbi, as it is much smaller than my 14dBi TrendNet wi-fi dish. By the way, the info on one side of the box my wi-fi came in says the antenna is 16dBi, and the other side says it is 18dBi :-)
Other:
Bottomline:
A must-have for anyone who has a weak signal level from a distant access point
