    Works on GNU/Linux

    Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    * Very cheap * Works at (almost) full USB3 speed * Easy installation * With recent GNU/Linux distros, you don't need to install any drivers (tried with Debian 6/7).
    Cons:
    None yet (people on the forum says this device will only work for a few months, we'll see about that)

    Good product for cheap price

    Pros:
    Works OK. USB 3.0 is very fast Extra power cord-adapter.
    Cons:
    No .inf driver for NEC chip. Only setup.exe both on CD and in internet.

    Pros:
    This card does indeed connect a USB 3.0 external drive at USB 3.0 speed. It is supplied with an adapter cable, in case you do not have a floppy power (small 4-pin) connector in your system. The adapter cable ends in a 4-pin Molex plug.
