    Pros:
    - It's small. - It's very easy to start programming - It works with the USB connection, or a third party power supply. - The chip can be replaced when needed, not that you would need it with proper use. - Lots and lot's of expansions, shields and sensors av...
    Cons:
    - The board and soldering looks a bit smudgy. - Little white wash over the board. Other than the above 2 points... No cons so ...

    Pros:
Great build quality, original Arduino made It comes with a looking-good USB cable with Ferrite ring. I've installed the Arduino IDE on Linux and works Flawlessly. There are some IDEs more than the "official" arduino ide.
    Cons:
Isn't the R2 version. This is the R1 version

Not 2011 version, instead it is REV 1

    Pros:
Arduino is a nice and cheap development platform. If you know some programing it is nice to work with. It can work independently from a PC once properly programmed.
    Cons:
It is NOT the 2011 version as stated. Instead it is the revision 1 version. I don't know the exact difference details, but the ...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    * Arduino is an open-source prototyping platform, that means that you can do what ever you like with the code and the bootloader that's loaded en the chip. * The arduino is pretty cheap, and it has built-in USB support (read: USB to Serial converter), whit...
    Cons:
    * I've seen it cheaper at ebay. * Some of the components are scurface mounted, that means that it makes it hard to replace the...
