    Fine for the price!

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
+ Quality is really good - at least very good for its price! + 10 in one package + easy enough to open and solder stuff to it + front hook is better than for sku.08391 (but it is also bigger, and not as good for smaller stuff)
    Cons:
    - hook at the front is too big for some really small stuff - spring mechanism is not really perfect, but still very good for th...

Really Useful ... and, Well Priced

posted by Lightfan99 on 01/30/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I like the product, and I like the price. Yellow is a good colour, in that it stands out when you're working ; so that you can easily see where you need to probe --- after you've been temporarily distracted or taken away from your job.
    Cons:
None! Okay, maybe one: the plastic seems a bit on the fragile side; so be careful not to drop one and step on it.

    Good buy for the hobbyist!

posted by VintagePC on 08/17/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Sturdy construction, heat-resistant plastic. I was worried the plastic would deform when soldering wires to the tabs at the top, but it held up! Sturdy little hooks work well even for closely spaced leads.
    Cons:
Different colours might be a nice feature, but I used differently coloured wire for each hook, so as long as you have some syst...

    Pros:
*ten* clips at 29 cents each !!! Very useful for DIY electronics hobbyists, especially to connect to IC pins, etc. Build quality adequate for the purpose.
    Cons:
Suitable wire must be soldered to the clip. Care needed when soldering, as the plastic can easily melt. As all other reviewers ...

    Test Small Parts

posted by apoapsis on 04/28/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
These hooks can hold very small parts, even those with very closely mounted leads. Spring loaded action seems to be of durable quality.
    Cons:
How about some red clips at this great price and quantity? Using all one color can lead to polarity mistakes, whick can sometim...

    Pros:
excellent price "good enough" to work in standard use small size for cramped PCBs
    Cons:

Dirty plastic yet good enough Wire hook

posted by JrBenito on 03/26/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very very cheap!! Came in a pack with 10 units but the price is the same to by only one in a local store Works and the contact is not the best metal contact but works for low frequency, low voltage or simple analog application.
    Cons:
The plastic construction is dirty quality and "look and feel" seems fragile (actually I did not broke anyone but...)....
