Many state-of-the-art LED TV's and similars only have digital optical output (especially LG). This converts any digital audio signal to analog RCA stereo for my "old", analogic, powerful (and better than most home cinemas) valve amplifier. The amplifier was more expensive 20 years ago than my TV is today...
I use toslink from my TV. Haven't tried the coaxial input.
It didn't came with EU 220v transformer...Only 110v "american" current.
I think I might need some more...Maybe build a multi-input/output device?...
The future is digital. I use (and prefer) analogic so converters will be useful....
