(ATTENTION: to connect to PC, you will need a level converter)
IT SHOULD have a DIP package option for the amateur user. The pads are really small and one should use paste solder to have a good job done.
You can connect it to your PC serial port to reconfigure it. Commands are high caption.
The original configuration is: Baud=9600; 8bit data; no parity.
To test connection, send AT - responds OK
To change pw: AT+PINxxxx - xxxx = pw
To change name: AT+NAMEnameinsmallcaps
To change Baud: AT+BAUDx - x from "1"=2400 to "8"=115200
As you can see, it`s a very easy way of adding a BT device for your project. I have testes with my PC and with PIC micro-controllers and it just works like a charm!
