There are better out there – MJ-872 Waterproof 4-CREE XP-G 4-Mode 1600-Lumen White LED Bike Light with Battery Pack Set Reviews

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

Pros:
Nice power switch with 4 battery indicators and split in two halves. Press the top half to go to the next higher power setting. Press the lower half to move down a power setting. Hold for 2 seconds to turn off. Very small size.
Cons:
Opaque lens scatters the light, not enough forward illumination.
Other:
The new MJ-856, which is made for them by Wonderbike, looks like a better bet. Should stay cool with that fancy finning on the body, and should be brighter.
Bottomline:
There are better and cheaper 4x XP-G lights out there like Bikeray and Fluxient - much better value. If the reliability is better than the 1400 lumen and the SSC P7, it will be an ok light if you use a spot with it.
