Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month
Very bright, with smooth spot in centre of the beam. Highlighted clicky switch, not too hard but not prone to accidental switching.
High capacity cell battery.
Good mount (non-rotating though).
- High self-discharge when off. Mine fully discharges in two days (it's switched off!).
Disconnect light from battery while not using, or once you'll going to ride, battery will appear depleted.
- Brightness depends on charge level.
- «High» mode is too bright when fully charged, and «Mid» mode is «almost-High» in fact. «Mid» is really too bright for sidewalk-riding, because it blinds approaching pedestrians.
- No «Lo» mode.
- On the battery, In-field cell replacement isn't possible. So reserve must be another battery block, not just 4 replacement cells.
Very good for that price.
If you want bright bike light and don't want to overpay, take it. It's quite cheap for its features.
