Does what i want it to – HDMI/F to DVI 24+5/M Adapter Reviews

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

Pros:
I use it for a computer GFX card, so it works extremely well
it fits right into the DVI port on the computer and then it easily plugs into the back of my TV
everything is essentially gold plated, so corrosion won't be much of an issue
Cons:
it does have +5 pins, so if you have a device that doesn't have the analog pins, don't get this because it won't fit into the socket.
Other:
i am not to sure of how much signal degradation this will cause, but it is short so i assume that it will be minimal
Bottomline:
if you have something that can use it, it is worth while to get.
however, unless you already have HDMI cables, i personally would get the DVI-> HDMI cable, that is cheaper, but you lose out on a normal HDMI cable
