    Best choice

posted by Shinebi on 05/13/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Easy installation, just 2 screws to lock the PCB-side in place. Supplied cable has a second connector in case of insufficient power.
    Cons:
Doesn't make use of a 'standard' USB-B connector, which would only be a problem in case you lose the one provided.

    Pros:
Good Price, esay to assembly, don't look cheap that much, splitted USB cable for power supply. The leather imitation pouch is a bit ugly but is a good shock absorber.

    Pros:
Bought this one for an old 80GB laptop IDE drive - it works perfectly, cable provided helps older drives that need more power than a single USB port can usually provide.
    Cons:
It's not always recognized by some machines or OSes - couldn't pinpoint it yet why - I suspect a combination of low-power USB p...
