    A decent little zooming flashlight

posted by Aflipz on 04/08/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Compact, lightweight, effective zoom. Well focused beam of light. Very useful for spotting small objects on the ground. Not very bright, being rated 80 lumens more than sku 116325 I was hoping it would be a least as bright but it's not, it's much dimmer, an...
    Cons:
light color is pretty high in the Kelvin scale, borderline purple. Light output is far over-rated. Sku 116325 produces much mor...

    A fine large zooming flashlight

posted by Aflipz on 03/29/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Produces a decent amount of light, zoom function works well, action is very smooth and feels like it's air tight (or air struggles to enter and exit as you actuate the zoom) Machining and threads is fantastic. Top quality stuff.
    Cons:
It's pretty bulky compared to what I like to carry with me but it's really not that big... I couldn't find anything in retail s...

    Great batteries, great value!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Easily 600mah actual, usable capacity. (I didn't expect them to deliver 900 it would just be too goo d to be true) These batteries seem to handle high discharge rates relatively well and handles abuse very nicely. I have over discharged one quite thorough...
    Cons:
No cons really. Ok, maybe the fact that they are not protected? But that will increase cost and mean they may not fit all appli...

"If you were stranded on a desert island..."

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Impressive brightness, good spot, good spill. Always impresses. Lower output mode means long runtime and cool operation. Seems water resistant. It has the power of larger headed 18650 lights, but the portability of a CR123A thanks to it's slender cylindr...
    Cons:
stupid strobe mode... Not only unnecessary but annoying; it removes value from any flashlight in my opinion. Assault crown is...

    My favorite flashlight

posted by Aflipz on 03/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
At least as bright, if not brighter than any CR123A flashlight I have ever owned... This tiny little flashlight does it all from huge flood lighting to a TIGHT little beam that throws light at distances that are quite amazing for a light this compact! Sho...
    Cons:
Cons... well, if I must be picky; the zoom-sliding mechanism doesn't seem all that water-resistant and is a little on the loose...
