    Great RF module!

posted by AllgoodnameRgon on 06/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This is a great RF module at a ridiculously low price. I think the batteries alone would cost more than the price of the whole package around here. The thing also works flawlessly and this is the most important thing.
    Cons:
The remote controller is a bit ugly, but not too ugly. Maybe a bit too big too, would be better if it was about the size and th...

Great bottle holder for a bike

posted by AllgoodnameRgon on 06/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This is a great bottle holder at a ridiculously low price. The bottle holder looks good and is easy to install. It took me about 2 minutes to remove my old bottle holder and replace it with this one. It will hold normal sized bottles that you can buy in bi...
    Cons:
    None.

    Extension for magicshine bike light

posted by AllgoodnameRgon on 06/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Well built, long enough for most intended usages(90cm). It'll extend DC power. It's like a wheel that turns.
    Cons:
None. This thing does what it's supposed to do.

Maybe the only bicycle light that'll satisfy mountain bikers out of the box

posted by AllgoodnameRgon on 06/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This bicycle light is built around the XML-T6 LED, which is very, very bright. This is necessary for a light that's more intended as a flooder than as a thrower, because the intensity drops faster with range the higher the divergence. The light is built ve...
    Cons:
Too many modes. I'd like ON/OFF only or HIGH/LOW/OFF only. The strobe mode is annoying. All bicycle light are built like that s...

Good quality transmitter for the price

posted by AllgoodnameRgon on 06/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good quality for the price. It'll work at a nice range if you add an antenna (the place to solder the antenna is identified on the board). Let's be honest: Superregeneration is a really cool term for a transmitter. If someone asks how your 2 arduino board ...
    Cons:
    None really.

    Good receiver for the price

posted by AllgoodnameRgon on 06/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good quality for the price. It'll work at a nice range if you add an antenna (the place to solder the antenna is identified on the board). Also it is really small so it could be hidden if you wanted to.
    Cons:
I don' see any cons. It receives signal and this is pretty much it.

    Love it!

posted by AllgoodnameRgon on 06/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Let's be clear: this baby isn't just a speedometer, it's a whole cycling computer for less than the price of a tank of gas. It's missing the very advanced features that are found on very expensive models (like a GPS with route planning and all), but it has ...
    Cons:
At this price, NONE! Really None. This is a really great bicycle accessory. Yeah, maybe one: the batteries were DOA. This is no...

    Y cable for magicshine

posted by AllgoodnameRgon on 06/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Well built, sturdy, connectors are waterproof. Overall a good Y cable.
    Cons:
Built with 24 AWG aluminum wire (which makes them comparable to 26AWG copper as far as resistance goes), which is a bit resisti...

    REALLY bright!

posted by AllgoodnameRgon on 06/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This light is bright. REALLY BRIGHT! You actually have to be careful not to blind yourself with it. It is brighter than any other flashlight or bicycle light that I own. It has a nice green phosphorescent ring on the lens. Kinda cool imho! The power pack...
    Cons:
The light gets hot during use. This means a lot of current goes through it, which is why the light is so bright. Not much of a ...

    Great batteries

posted by AllgoodnameRgon on 06/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Great batteries. They fit in the usual flashlight and in normal-sized battery holders. They hold their charge and although I haven't tested them on the imax-B6 yet I can say they have more capacity than the average batteries.
    Cons:
    None that I see.
