Being able to use regular PS/2 keyboards and mice with hardware that only supports USB, such as laptops, ARM boards, or just connecting more keyboards and mice.
    Cons:

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Contains MAX3232 RS-232 Line Driver Receiver. Converts RS-232 to levels between 3 and 5.5 Volt, which should be supplied on the Vcc line. Therefore it can be used with most boards. I am currently using it with my CubieBoard, but it should work fine with a R...
    Cons:
No documentation supplied. Been looking at datasheets and measuring the board to verify how it works before connecting it. Als...

posted by Andrevs on 01/23/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Works out of the box on a Raspberry Pi with XBMC, no custom configuration required.
    Cons:
None that I can think of. If I have to mention any cons, perhaps that would be no batteries included.
