Decent, though not as nice as it looks on the photos

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
A good kit for the price, with a scale of lenses from almost clear to fairly dark. The lenses look scratch-proof, although I haven't worn them long enough to check whether it's true.
    Cons:
Temples are very difficult to remove. The photos on the site are a bit misleading in terms of shape: the glasses look somewhat ...

    Worth the price

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Extremely loud, you won't miss a call in a noisy environment - Standard battery - Appears to be fairly rugged, the front half is metal - Obviously, 4 SIM cards :-) - A dedicated side switch for flashlight - easy to switch it on in a total darkness
    Cons:
All the cons have to do with the user interface: - Counterintuitive assignment of soft keys. The functions displayed at the bot...

    A good compact adapter

posted by AntonKk on 05/09/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Well-supported in Linux, relevant modules are usually present by default in most distributions - Very compact, takes no room and has no brittle external antenna
    Cons:
    - Not very sensitive due to the lack of external antenna (well, it's a trade-off for compact size) - Setup application on the e...

    Decent cool white bulb

posted by AntonKk on 02/12/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
A good kind of cool white, not irritatingly blue as some other lights. Good price per lumen.
    Cons:
DC only (no rectifier inside). Very dim and/or flickering on AC. Glass body (potentially brittle).

    A decent bulb

posted by AntonKk on 02/12/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Works with DC and AC power. Mechanically sturdy (fell on the floor from 2 m without damage). The price per lumen is good.
    Cons:
A more powerful one would be nice (the package says they come in versions with up to 60 emitters, this one has 21 and plenty of...
