Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Seems to work fairly well. Uses 1-AA batt. so easy. Pretty quiet, easy to use. Deluxe cap included.
    Cons:
Not particularly effective. It works, but slowly. When you take the top cutting head apart, parts fall out so you can't clean...

    Pros:
-Good, bright white light. -LED so is efficient and hopefully won't fail for a while.
    Cons:
-Seems to get quite hot. -Would like this form factor bulb, but even brighter.

    Ok, small

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very small and light so it's easy to carry with you. Has a loop on it so you can attach to keyring, etc. Memory card slides in easily with no issues so far.
    Cons:
Seems slightly lo-quality, but what do you expect for the price. Slightly unreliable plug n'play I've found. XP didn't seem t...

    Pros:
Works; easy to take off pinion from 4G3 brushless motor. Many sizes of pins means should be ok for bigger motors too. Build quality seems ok.
    Cons:
Didn't even fit stock 4G3 brushless motor first time I tried it. Main puller body impacts motor casing and then you can't inse...

Fairly small unit, with LED to indicate selected input. Seems like an OK price. Works.
    Cons:
    No remote.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Looks good, gold-plated, fits devices normally and seems to work. 2-pk means the price is good and you have an extra one.
    Cons:
I've only used one so far, but the front half separates from the rear body. You can press it back together but it later comes ...

    No issues

posted by Beckler2 on 05/12/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Seems pretty solidly built with seemingly gold plated connectors. No issues so far and functions normally. Far cheaper than what you will find in big electronics stores.
    Cons:
Slightly big cable and bulky. Could be more flexible, but it's strong/shielded.

Get these if your mouse needs them

posted by Beckler2 on 12/29/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Easy, cheap and once applied they seem to work fine. My mouse is much smoother now with all pads present. The MX500 is a durable mouse so it's worth fixing up. Material seems to be actual 3M product--has 3M logo on backing.
    Cons:
Pads are slightly smaller than originals.

    Don't know

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Looks ok. Slide switch is easy to use and means you don't have to hold it on. It's pretty bright for a keychain light, with it's 3 LEDs and reflector.
    Cons:
Presumably unregulated, so light dims through brattery life. Doesn't seem to charge easily. Either it takes extremely long or...

    Ok...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Assuming you like the bluish type white LED light, this is nice. Apparently uses less power but I haven't measured the current yet. Fairly diffuse beam, good for directional desk lamp work. If you want it as a room light you can bounce it off a white cei...
    Cons:
Very short, so will have trouble fitting some lamp fixtures. It's not very bright as many others have stated. More like a bri...
